Counting down.
It's crazy that five months have already passed. This has been such an amazing experience and I'm so happy that I did it. It's going to be so surreal heading back to Boston and New York. I had a bit of home in the Netherlands when Gen O'Keefe came to visit a couple of days ago. She stayed for only a couple of days which consisted of going to my exhibition and drinking lots of free beer and then walking back for 3 hours. And then switching from that exhibition to the next. I wish I hadn't had much to do but those couple of days were basically the peak of our study abroad coming together.
The only assignments I have left:
- Book Meeting tomorrow in the Boijman's museum
- "Last Supper" group critique with Juan which includes beer and food
- Presentation of our work for July 3rd
- Making sure all of my transcripts head to NYC
- Getting all of the funds in the right place from the exhibition
The exhibition went really well. I was surprised that we pulled it off without any problems. I'm really glad we did it. In the next post, I will definitely post some photos from the exhibition, I promise! It will probably be an photo only post. Right now, some of our pieces are sitting in the Blaak hall exhibition space and I have to take that down tomorrow.
I just finished binding a book made of transparent paper. That was probably the dumbest idea I've ever had but its too late to go back on it now. I have to wake up at 7 in the morning and be at the museum at 8:45am to present it.
There's less than a month left, wow.
